Proposed Specific Plan

The Town Center is envisioned as a vibrant mixed-use community that will create a memorable space within the City of American Canyon. The entire Town Center Specific Plan area is a mixed-use district, without the usual horizontal segmentation of individual land uses, zoning categories or densities. Instead, the contemplated uses for the area include a mixture of various types and densities of residential development, along with civic, commercial and retail, as well as visitor-serving and hospitality uses.

Conceptual Land Use Map

The site is broken into several areas determined by their dominant usage. These areas are shown on the conceptual land use plan, which illustrates the arrangement, placement and size of proposed land use areas, as well as the backbone circulation system tying them together. See the “Land Use Table” below for a table that summarizes the land uses proposed for the Town Center.
