The Community has played an important role in development of the Town Center project. In 1999, the citizens pre-zoned the site as “Town Center” through a ballot initiative.

The City and developer organized two Town Hall Meetings. The meetings facilitated an exchange of ideas among citizens who attended, and with other interested stakeholders.
