At the core of the Town Center
is the Mixed-Use Village, encompassing approximately 44 acres of the
100-acre site and providing a gateway to the City and to the larger Napa
Valley. This area will contain civic uses such as a new city hall and
branch library, as well as office space, retail/commercial
space with
residential units above, and high-density
residential uses such as town
homes. The core Village area will also include such visitor-serving uses
as a wine tasting and event
center, a wedding chapel, and a boutique
hotel and lakeside recreation. The mixture of uses will create a vibrant
focal point for the Town Center, and a strong sense of place will be
established by locating the project core adjacent to the lake and that
portion of the ruins which will be utilized in the new Town Center. Click
on land uses for a narrative of the type of uses.
